Curtiss P-40 Warhawk

Curtiss P-40N Warhawk.

Arguably one of the most recognisable WW2 fighter planes, it was the third most produced American fighter of the war, and saw service in every theatre and with every allied power.
It was the first of any allied air unit to be painted with the distinctive “Shark Mouth” symbol, which was originally copied from Luftwaffe planes.
